Shipping and returns

Overview


Every effort has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The images you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings to the actual artwork. Any variation between the image represented online and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and such inconsistencies in colour will not be a valid reason for return. Artwork is not framed unless specified.

Ordering

How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken via Stripe in British Pounds Sterling. Orders cannot be placed in any other currency.

Shipping

I endeavour to ship orders within 5 working days. Items are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight.  Most UK deliveries arrive within 2-3 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 working days in total. I charge a flat rate of £6.00 to cover packing and postage costs.

Returns and refunds

What if when I receive my painting I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so if If a painting is not as you expect (other than slight variation in colours as described at the top of this page), you have 10 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning an artwork.

Once the piece has been safely returned, inspected and deemed eligible for refund, I will refund your payment within 14 working days.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

To be eligible for a return, the artwork must be unused, unmarked and in the same condition that you received it.

Damage to the mounts/backing boards does occasionally occur during transit. Damage to mounts/backing boards are not eligible for return and refund of the artwork. Most minor damage to mounts/backing boards is hidden when framed. If the mount/backing board of your item has extensive damage that will not be hidden in framing, please contact me with images of the damage and I will usually offer a replacement mount, free of charge.

I do not offer exchanges.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, marked or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If the refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card within 14 working days.

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning an artwork. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only full-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be returned or refunded.
